Custom IR led can be detected by genuine dk2 camera?

hi, I am wondering ir led like this http://www.terracode.com/IR_Pen/DIY_IR_Pen.html can be detected by the camera that oculus dk2 uses. and how many ir leds do you think we need to attach...

Yes, it CAN be done. With C++ your only limits are your imagination.
