Data Visualization Toolchain / Techstack

Experts,

I'm looking to implement some data visualization in the context of the Rift. Imagine 3D Chart dashboards that you can interact with.

What is a suggested toolchain / techstack for attempting a project like this? Which frameworks you can recommend? Any links or similar projects you can point to would be very helpful.
