Developers Needed!!! For collaborative project
Hello...I was wondering if anyone would like to team up and pool our talents to make something in time for the launch of the Rift at the end of the year or early 2015?
My name is Damian Piesse, and like me I am sure there are people out there who feel they have some of the skills needed to get something really cool made for the rift's launch. I feel that we need to strike soon if we want to get something made in time. I am so passionate about this that I have made a site called Urift.com (literally this weekend June29th) to help collect people together in order to try and make something. There probably wont be any money involved (if there is it would shared equally), instead I see this as a labour of love - a stepping stone to forming a company in the future perhaps.
Meanwhile we need to get a team together, a team of people who share this kind of idea. We need an awesome idea/inspiration then a set of developers/programmers/artists etc. Perhaps you have an amazing idea burning inside and don't know how to take it further, or maybe you are a 3D modeller and are stuck with learning C# (that's also me by the way), but feel there isn't enough time to learn everything in time to fully take advantage of the rift's launch which is only months away probably?
I have put together an online project management system already, so we are ready to go - we can also use Skype to chat etc (I am in London but there is no reason this can't be international).
Once we have a team together I will fund a Team Licence (you need to have the pro licence already I think) and sort out a server. Anyway, for now I just want to see if anyone else is interested? Send me a reply here or register on the Urift.com website and I am really excited about getting a response!
