Differences between PrioVR and Stem?

Now that both of these products have had successful kickstarter campaigns I wonder if someone might help me understand what differences there are between the two systems in terms of performance and quality of trackng?
Is magnetic tracking much more precise?
Does the PrioVR have a lot of drift?
How is the latency?
Etc. etc.
Is anyone well versed enough in the systems to perhaps enlighten me on these matters?

  • Their is lots of of discussion of the merits of various systems in DK2 tracking threads. Palmer Lucky has stated that STEM is not accurate enough for motion sick free head tracking, so they went with optical mocap. Priovr has no absolute position tracking at all, it uses orientation sensors to animate a model of your skeleton, simulating your steps to get position. I suspect there demo videos might be cherry picked, and there staff probably spent a while calibrating it to their individual skelton proportions. I think PrioVR is probably probably be best combined with some IR led patterns for optical tracking.
