10 years agoDirectToRift not responding
Gigabyte motherboard
Nvidida 760 GTX 4gb DDR5
Intel i7
1tb/8gb ddr3
The demo in 0.5 SDK is working. If I try to run a game DirecttoRift it loads (Just to my pc monitor and not to the rift) or the programs not responding.
I originally thought it was a problem with my latest Nvidia drivers, but I've waited awhile and still have the same problem.
I have 100% run these before. I'm also on a computer running dual boot Windows 7/Windows 10.

UPDATE 1
***********************************
I actually re-installed all of the Oculus drivers and updated my Nvidia drivers to the best of my capability and have the demo scene working. I'm getting an error that reads "Unable to initialize LibOVR" upon launching the Tuscany Demo. Still having the same problem with other programs not responding or launching solely to the monitor with each side of vision displayed.

UPDATE 2
*************************************
I actually completely reinstalled Windows 7 on my computer and its FINALLY working (After ~8 months).
Thanks again for taking the time to read my post!!

- cyberealityGrand ChampionIs this on Windows 7? Because Windows 10 support isn't fully working yet.
Have you installed all the patches from here? viewtopic.php?f=29&t=16768
What was the last thing you did before it started crashing?
Can you provide a diagnostic log from the Config Util (Tools->Advanced) (please use code tags for long pastes). - Anonymous

Thanks again for taking the time to read my post!! :) - cyberealityGrand ChampionIf on Windows 7, make sure you are on SP1 (or newer) and install this patch:
http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... x?id=36805
It could also be a failed installation. Try disabling any firewall/antivirus software, and run the installer as admin. - AnonymousI'm just gonna reformat my computer some point soon hopefully. I'm almost certain it's because there's some confliction with the operating systems and graphics drivers etc.
Thanks for the response - RazTOOHonored Guest

Hi! I don'tknow if this will help ... it helped me.
Once in a while an SDK update comes out and my DK2 (which I take really good care of) is playing DEAD... what I do is:
A) if i use a HDMI-to-DVI i unplug it and plug DK2 to hdmi and reboot my PC. After my DK2 is visible again I can use my DVItoHDMI again
B) ... opposite to A) :)
Hope that helps! You can also see my video here:

It helped a bunch of people out ;)
