DK2 + krpano

Hello, does anyone has succeeded using the DK2 to view stereoscopic krpano 360 panoramas? The NPVR plugin which makes it possible for DK1 is not adapted for DK2 and until krpano is getting on with WebVR, I desperately need the NPVR plugin to work with the DK2.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!

  • Hello again, I must up this message again, I have only a week left before calling it a fail. I've searched more communities for someone who can adapt krpano stereoscopic panos for the DK2 and still nothing. it s very sad to see developers investing time only is useless rollercoasters, when I first ordered it, never thought that dk2 will not get implemented in all the areas dk1 worked. call it flaming or not but if this won't work, it's going in the bin.
  • Maybe you can use LiveViewRift in the mode where you use your main display as your source (Mac and Win8 only for this mode ).

Why do you need to show your panos in a web browser btw? VRPlayer, Whirligig and LiveViewRift all show all kinds of 2d and 3d still panoramas fine from source images, or from web urls to jpgs also in the case of LiveViewRift. I can see if you had some kind of multinode tours with hotspots or if you wanted to constrain viewing angles those might be reasons. Or if you dont want the user to download an application I guess -- but they would still have to install a plugin for the NPVRPlugin method.

LiveViewRift in the most recent version makes it simple to preconfigure your panoramas so the user just has to load a 6 digit code you provide. eg

  • Has anyone made any progress with Stereoscopic Panos (ideally KRPano) and OR DK2?

If you have, can you please share as I have a trade show next week and am struggling to find a solution

    Thanks in advance

Yes, for animated hotspots and text inputs :(

mediavr, you re a life-saver! Indeed LiveViewRift did it, perfect perspective from the beginning, even possibility to additional content via layers. Many Thanks!
