DK2 and displayport

Hi !

I'd like to work with 2 screens and my DK2, and my PC's last port is a displayport. I'd like to knows if I can connect a DK2 inside a displayport with no risk ?

thanks

My DK2 is actually pulugged in my display port. It works fine, you can do it ;)

All the DisplayPort interfaces out there are also capable talking the DVI/HDMI wire protocol, however the signalling levels are different. So you'll need a semi-active adaptor to convert between DP and DVI/HDMI (DVI and HDMI use the same wire protocol and electrical signalling). Personally I prefer DP → DVI converters, because if I need a HDMI I can plug a passive HDMI/DVI adapter between.

Other than that there's no difference in execution regarding the software, drivers or how the DK2 appears to the computer.
