If your monitors support 120Hz even if you cant output 120fps I would set them to that just because they will still refresh at 120Hz regardless of your frame rate which IMO looks a bit more "solid" and even if you're in the 60-120fps range its still better then limiting yourself to 60fps, not to mention some things may even be able to run at 120+fps (older/simpler games) even if none of your games go over 60fps the desktop will still show some improvement by running at 120fps/Hz. Seems like a waste spending the premium on 1440p 120Hz monitors and not using them.
