EMS Simulation
Is anyone aware of someone that is developing Oculus for use in Emergency Medical Services (EMS) simulation. It is challenging to provide meaningful simulation to EMS students to hone their Patient Assessment and Treatment skills. Oculus appears to be an economical platform for this. It would also be helpful if other students could view the experience on a classroom monitor for group critiques.

- JonathanVBHonored GuestJust have them play Surgeon Simulator 2013. It supports the Rift, and I'd feel perfectly comfortable with it's realism.
On a more serious note, an EMS simulator would probably be a difficult and niche project, so it's unlikely that there's one designed for the Rift. You might be better off initially by trying to adapt an existing program to add Rift support. - Vince13Honored GuestAny specific game suggestions other than Surgeon?
Thanks - raintitanHonored GuestI'm curious to hear more about how you see VR helping in this scenario.
What is your vision for how someone wearing an Oculus would interact with the environment or patient? Aside from the immersion faction what about VR is compelling?
I think there is an incredible future with learning and development for the Oculus and I am interested in developing and understanding these kinds of models.
