Error Writing Firmware

Just installed the latest 0.4.1 runtimes and, to make sure, I went to update the firmware after system reboot. Firmware update failed "Error writing firmware" Rift is now stuck in Boot Rift DK2 ...

I can only write 2.12, 2.11 gets me a write error. HMD won't get detected unless I keep the power button pressed for more than 10 seconds. In that mode yellow led is blinking and Device Manager gets a new Generic USB Hub, still No Device Attached message (and the Oculus Configuration Utility displays Model as Boot Rift DK2). Tried all SDKs, all available usb ports on 2 PCs and 1 mac, without success. :(
