Eye filters for Oculus rift !?

Hello everyone, I know that everyone is excited for the new oculus rift but I have been thinking !? why they didn't make any eye filters at the end you will be playing for up to 3 hrs ever though...

Why would they put filters into the thing? What exactly would they filter out?
