Far Cry 3 + Vorp X + PS3 Controller = X and Y axis issues???
So I've had my Rift for a week or so and, like everyone else, am blown away. I downloaded most of the unity demos and such (Titans of Space, Spacewalk, Riftcoaster, and Lost in the Rift are my favorit...

I just started playing Far Cry 3 at the weekend using Tridef, though I think I will run it with Vorpx next time and see if it looks any better.
I disable the gamepad option in game and use a wireless 360 gameapad and Xpadder which uses your controller to emulate a keyboard and mouse while still allowing you to use your Rift. I think it costs about $10 and should work with any controller.
It works perfectly for the games I have tried:
Modern Warfare 1- 3
COD World at War
Skyrim
Dead Island
Far Cry 3
Stalker SOC and COP
Half Life 2 (though having to use the right thumbstick to aim your gun is not what I'm used to)
Left for Dead 1 and 2
Outlast
It struggles a bit with games that force gamepad if one is detected, like Metro 2033 and GTAIV where the right stick and Rift seem to battle for control. Still very playable though.
I agree that being able to stand up with a controller adds that level of immersion you just can't get sitting at your desk. I don't think I've played a game that way in 2D since November.
