Field of View of Oculus Rift DK2

I am searching a lens for my camera to match the field of view of the Oculus Rift DK2. But I didn't find anywhere the exact field of view horizontally and vertically for the DK2. Does someone know that information?

Thanks for your help,
jolau

Of course I read the documentation. But what does this mean? Is it 100° vertical, horizontal or diagonal?

I emailed to the support of Oculus VR and got this as answer:
The Development Kit 2 FOV is about 100 degrees horizontally and vertically.
However, please keep in mind there are a lot of specific factors that alter the perceived FOV and this can change the number on a per user basis.

I think the question is now answered ;).
  • Nice so it is improved over the DK1 in FOV. That's great news. 90 degrees really isn't enough to convince your eyes you're standing around just looking at another world at least without context of why so much of your vision is obstructed (ski goggles, gas mask etc)

The lenses are circular, so the answer is... "yes" :-)
