Help with Psychophysics Experiment
Hello all,
I apologize in advance if this is the incorrect place to post or if it has already been answered before (I searched but turned up nothing).
I will be running a psychophysics experiment in the near future and have obtained an Oculus Rift. I have never used one of these before. I have managed to set it up on my Mac and try some demos and it works great.
However, I need it for a different purpose. I need to display a scenic picture to a participant as they are lying down. The problem is that I do not want the gyroscopic features of the rift to be active (ie. I just want the participant to view a still image no matter the direction/angle/motion of their head). Are there ways to disable this? Or is there an existing plug-in that would serve this purpose?
Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

However, doing this will likely make people uncomfortable.
