How do you enable Quest Link system tray support?

The Meta Quest Link app now includes system tray support, giving quick access to device status and quick actions while Meta Quest Link is running in the background.
The release notes for v74 say that there finally is system tray support for Quest Link, but it looks like that just isn't true. You still can't close the window without shutting down Quest Link, and there is no option to enable system tray support in the settings either. What's going on, why would this be announced if the feature doesn't actually exist?

I would like to know this as well. As far as I can tell nothing has changed in Meta Quest Link since v74.
For me it's quite the opposite. This feature is now enabled by default and I can't turn it off. I also can't make quest tray icon be always visible, it still hide itself in ">" section. I liked that I can just close the app, but now it's another "wanna always run in the background" bloatware
