How to control demos/games w joystick?

I want to use with my joystick (Msfbb2) with heli hell 2 and vox machinae . How do I achieve that? I tried joytokey but it doesnt work. Since I dont have a 360 controler and I dont want to use one, is there a way to setup my joystick so its usable? HELP

    You could try a program called joy 2 key:

    It might help you out if your trying to assign keyboard and mouse inputs to the joystick. If your trying to assign xBox button inputs to a joystick I'm not sure if there is a program to do that as I haven't actually looked for one.

    *EDIT* Sorry I saw you tried Joy2Key already. Does it not recognize your joystick?
