How to skip "please wait" screen when I launch my application

Hi all, we have a setup where a unity application is launched through another unity application in PC (applications, not scenes!). After the last Oculus update, we always get the "please wait" screen in between applications. This is very annoying and it breaks the experience. We only want our logo in the splash screen to appear when launching the second application and avoid Oculus service screens getting in the middle. This is for a demo for very important exhibition for a very important client, so any help is much appreciated.
