I suggest having the Oculus headphones as an Option
nothing can beat my skullcandy crusher headphones that has the best bass of ANY headset on the market in the entire world plus it cannot beat bose $300 inear ear buds there is no way Oculus head...
The most vital quality for headphones to have in VR is accurate frequency response, and unless you have some sort of studio monitors the Oculus headphones will probably be better at that.
Any headphones that in any way filter or adjust EQ (such as to boost bass) will ruin positional audio completely, and that's most "premium" consumer headphones (especially bose). How good they sound for music and movies is neither here nor there, headphones like that are bad for VR.
