Idea of occulus game/demo you would like
Hi,
Maybe a lot of you are like me, a lot of idea, but no game-developper skill.
And maybe some others are very good developper but have no idea...
Here is a topic, where you can regroup every Idea of game, demo, or simulation you wishe to test with occulus rift.
From my point of view :
flying is the dream of every men, so :
_A superman flying simulation, a great "man-flying" simulation in virtual mountains or city would be great.
With a great care of the "gravity" feeling, of course.
or
_A jetpack flying simulation. with limited acceleration phases Very good sensation, with a lot of up&down.
or
_A "jump from" simulation : Jump from a plane, a mountain, a building, and see the floor coming to you.
or
_A catapult simulation. Where you're catapulted by some device.
Reincarnate yourself with the body of someone/something else :
We saw some demo in the body of a mosquito, of a baby...
Lets try everything !
_Underwater environment : To feel the oppresive environment of the water, and trying to catch fish, all around you.
Go with your ideas ;)

- I'd like to see a vr football (American) sim
Seems like it might be fun throwing passes with the hydra - I don't think water is an oppressive environment, if anything, i think it's oppressed! (by land). Think about it.
- for a human, its always oppresive to tell yourself you're 30meter underwater, with ton of water upside,
no or little oxygen, a potentially shark which can attack u.
Its not our natural environment. - A new Great Idea :
A Boxing simulation !!!!!!
1st reality improvment :
_Seeing punches come at you with rift, and the ring all around you
_Using headtracking accelerometers to make some dodges of attacks
2nd Reality improvment :
_with Razer Hydra to emulates your own punches.
(or even a simple pad if you don't have hydra, it will be great anyway, just to be in the boxer).
3rd reality improvment :
_Using Treadmill, to make some standposition legs tracking to move inside the ring.
or
_Kinnect PositionTRacking To move around your room freely as if it were the ring.
What do you think ? - Up above the city so high. Imagine the feeling of being way up there with the city spread out below you. Many tasks to accomplish in construction and manipulation. And good old recreational destruction swinging the big ball. Hear the sounds of the city way down there, and radio traffic on your speakers, as well as grinds and sqeaks of equipment. Experience weather moving through, almost up in the clouds. This could be a beautiful and visceral game, the closest most of us will ever come to being up there.
Lots of add-on purchase possibilites, too -- cities, equipment, and the new tasks they make possible.
Feed the birds, too, and make them your friend! I want to see a bird fly up to me in the Oculus Rift. - i guess the classic stuff, like driving a car in vr, and flying a plane, and so on. other things that would be awesome, is a tank kommander game. maybe a viking game where you have to sail in really big vaves? and fighting games are a win, maybe oblivion in vr would be possible?
- a superhero/fantasy game would be pretty sweet. i personally thought that was the whole idea to get totally immersed in a world there is no way for us to actually enter, making the impossible possible so to speak
any vehicle simulation game, some unique learning games - anyone working on porting over fallout3?....that should work.
or even the original Unreal tournament? - I would just like to have a relaxing demo where you could walk/sit/lie on a beach/field/forest and listen to some relaxing music from radio and watch birds fly and waves crash to beach.
- A game where the main character has an occulus rift and put it.
and is inside a main who has an occulus rift and put ti.. etc
