IK rig solution for DK2 and Unity
Is there a good solution that someone knows of to have a rigged avatar in game with the appropriate IK controls set up for positional tracking along with normal head tracking?
I want to use Unity with Mecanim but am not sure on the proper way to set this up or maybe there is something already existing in the asset store perhaps? Or does someone have an asset they are willing to share for this purpose?
Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the recommendation. I assume you've used it? Have you tied it in with all the Rift's movements yet? - AnonymousI've used it but not for a Rift first person avatar. It's on my list though. I have a STEM 5 tracker coming in October and I'm anticipating choosing between which package offers the best performance as it looks like Sixense has their own IK solution for their sdk.
- saviorntProtegeFinalIK is decent, but it doesn't handle the OVR movement very well. They stated that they will look at including it, but afaik, they have not yet.
You would think it would be just a simple "add OVR camera to heirarchy" but it doesn't work well. It works, sort of, but not well.
Honestly, there needs to be a IK+Kinematic solution from what I've found in order to get precise movements. - serrarensHonored GuestI am working on a complete solution for a interactive rig called InstantVR Advanced. It will support DK1, DK2, no HMD, keyboard/mouse, gamecontroller and Razer Hydra input. Kinect and STEM are planned.
It provides a completely procedurally animated avatar using IK solutions with interactive hands for picking up objects etc.
Next week I will be releasing a beta version to selected developers. Release is planned in September. In the mean time you can get InstantVR Free which supports DK1 without arm movements from my site: http://passervr.com
