Intel Skeletal Hand Tracking

Yes, probably.
However, this is more for close range hand tracking. Kinect will be ideal for full body tracking.
I hope the next Kinect will be accurate enough to actually reliably track fingers, but even reliably detecting a fist vs an open hand is already an improvement.
To this day, there is no proper camera-based solution to track your body/hands, which is a shame. Leap is also limited in its range, however it seems better than most of the other tech.
