Is anyone enjoing Rift without sickness? How long?
I would like to ask the community your experiences with the Rift (DK2) because I'm beginning to think that there is nobody out there enjoying the Rift for more than 15 minutes.
The only demos that work for me are the ones that doesn't involve camera motion inside the game.
Some other demos give me sickness in just 15 or 30 seconds
Please answer here with your opinion and your tech specs and time using the Rift without sickness.

Up to now I think I am pretty resistant to Motion Sickness.
6h Q2 VR straight, lots of hours Qbeh-1, Rollercoaster, Cyberspace, absolut no problem.
But I still get very fast Motion sick, if i have a wrong control sheme, for example playing in Q2VR with the different look/aim modes, very fast run speed => no good! - bdiepeveenHonored GuestI've been using the rift sinds this early this month and i went to a big lan event in belgium,
So i brought it alonge to introduce it to some friends there and played alot of TF2 using the rift
did not get any motion sickness but did get disoriented a few times when i lost my mouse
played a few rounds of man vs machine (overall i think it was about and 1,5h ) did took it off a few times to get a quick drink. Also did euro truck simulator four about an hour with out feeling anything but getting tired (trucking ain't for me  )
So overall i can say i did no get motion sickness from using the DK2 for a long period. - IccanuiProtegeIt depends. I have a very low end system right now and if there is any judder or blur, that starts to make me feel weird and can make me wanna stop after a few seconds. But when everything is sharp and clear and i can turn my head and everything is smooth, then i drop into another level of immersion and its not a problem. For me Lava is one of the big ones so far that really draws me in, but can make me sicks. If i go straight, nice and slow, it looks amazing and you feel like your there. But once i hit those turns, it can make me a little ill. Since lava is one of the better looking ones my rig can handle, i keep going back and im getting less sick each time i would say. Now for example, the demo desk in the oculus config tool, i can sit in that for quite a while. I havent experience one moment of sickness that i can remember.

Do you guys have a powerful computer? Y would like to know if all the people that is getting sickness is because poor computer and not reaching a minimum of 75 fps - bigmike20vtVisionaryIf I play the "right" games i can play indefinitely.
so elite dangerous, alone/lost in the rift, beneath, ETS, Live For Speed, robobliteration, etc etc
games like halflife 2 I can play for around 30 mins, and then i start to get clammy. So long as I stop then I get no side effects, IF I push it, I start to feel sick and generally feel a bit ropy for the following half hr or so after stopping.
Stuff like WarThunder and Helix however, have an effect on me within 5 mins, so I just keep clear for now.
I have a mid range PC - GTX670OC, generally if the framerate is dodgy i put details down to minimum, and failing that, do not use the app.
Also, any game which has section where the head tracking freezes up now and then (load screen in halflife 2 for instance) I learn to know when these happen and either keep head v still in them or close my eyes.
head tracking failure and you moving your head around is a sure fire way of bringing on woozyness imo. - cogentExplorerI have my DK2 since 2 weeks and I can play Live for Speed for houers.
But if I play first a few demos than I don't want to Play LFS anymore, it depands from the demos.
But LFS is realy good on the DK2, I can play it a long time without problems and it makes fun. - bdiepeveenHonored Guest

I'm using a MSI GT70 laptop with the rift,
i have no issue's with FPS (only problems i'm having it with VorpX and some games)
Native OR games like War Thunder and Euro Truck simulator work with out issue or framedrops - ccp001Honored GuestI thought the rift would make me sick but even at its most juddery it seems to has no effect on me. I can play for hours and I've never had a dk1
Gpu 660ti - I've never felt sick in the DK1 or DK2.
The longest thing I've played is Euro Truck Simulator 2, even with judder it doesn't really bother me, an hour plus is easy.
The DK2 gets uncomfortable after that long (hurts my cheeks) and there's only so long I can stand driving a truck around europe, but no sickness issues. - MotanumProtegeIt really depends on the game for me. I consider myself as being pretty strong to VR sickness. I have no problem with AAAAA for the awesome, riftmax theater, radial g, euro truck, my own demo (FPS Puzzle), rollercoasters, Windlands.
That said, I did get pretty sick after 40 minutes of minecrift. I was in creative mod, flying and riding carts and it got pretty intense. I have yet to give it another shot in adventure mode, so I can take it easy.
That said, I dont have a problem walking backwards or strafing, as other people report. I can play fairly long some games, like Riftmax. I havent been succesfull in getting Elite Dangeruous working, so I really look forward to playing that for a long period of time.
My PC is relatively good I think, I have a GTX 550ti. So I dont really hit 75 FPS, but over 30 is more than enough for me. Hoewever, I do not get the presence with 30FPS. So, I don't get sick, but I am not super immeresed yet.
