My scene has z=up, ho do I handle that
My engine has Z=up, but oculus expects Y=up
Do I have to rewrite everything, or is there a z=up option in oculus?
thanks

- raidho36ExplorerIf I recall correctly, the SDK has no understanding of "up" direction. It just reports HMDs angles and whatever you do with them is your business. The first obvious thing to do anyway is to use HMD angle as an offset off base angle rather than absolute angle.
- The sdk understands up, it's head orientation quaternion is based on a right handed Y up coordinate system, and in SDK 0.3 (whenever that comes out) the position tracking of the head will be based on that too.
But that's just two values (orientation and position of the head), it's not hard to convert them to your coordinate system rather than rewriting everything.
