That's not quite appealing. - galopinHeroic Explorer@cybereality What the hell all my lines turn the last character of the last word into a smiley !!!!
- cyberealityGrand ChampionAnd here I was thinking you were laughing. Ha! :D
- wbskProtegeI noticed when I ran Oculus Home today it appears to have asked me if I _wanted_ to update the driver to 1.5? If that is indeed the case and it continues going forward then _many_ thanks to Oculus for finally giving us some sort of control on whether we want to update our drivers or not - it was sorely needed!
Also after updating I ran one of our projects from visual studio and Oculus Home didn't pop up!!!!! THIS is FANTASTIC!
Thank you so much for listening about these. I was really worried you wouldn't fix these issues. Very happy if so! Given confirmation that this actually is intentional going forward I will happily spend some money for personal games on the oculus store now in gratitude for these fixes. - galopinHeroic ExplorerStrange, i updated to 1.5 and Oculus Home still popup for me !
- wbskProtegeOh dear, screw this really. It seems I spoke to soon sorry :-( I updated to a GTX1080 and to the 1.5 runtime and I guess in the mix of this I didn't restart the machine so somehow it got into a state where our programs were running without the Oculus home window popping up.
Since rebooting the whole system today it couldn't find the DKII HDMI connection until I pulled it and plugged it back in. Then it was back to it's old tricks of booting up resource consuming Unity based Oculus Home when we run our programs.
How very sad. I won't buy anything from the Oculus Store until this is fixed. - vfergusonExpert ProtegeHi cyber, what version of Unity 5.4 is required to build against 1.5?
- cyberealityGrand ChampionI think it's currently 5.4.0b18 but that may change shortly.
