New UI widget for Leap Motion VR: Arm HUD!

Currently available as an alpha demo, our new Arm HUD Widget demo lets you flip between two different HUD display settings -- including a clock, buttons, sliders, and text. It's basically a giant smartwatch that covers your whole forearm. Check it out!

There's still lots of testing (and adding customization options) to do before it's ready to build with, but we thought we'd share it with you for the holidays. The final version will be open source and completely customizable.

  • This is really cool! I have been trying to "teach" the leap how to recognize IR reflective markers so that you can 'tag' things like a keyboard, or in this case a wrist, or forearm so that this was part of the forearm and could get some tactile feedback from a prop placed on the arm. I love the UI though, it works very well from my tests. I think I will try to put this into our game in some form or another, nice job!!
