Non-gaming Oculus model for professionals and hobos

Supposedly the Rift's resolution is driven significantly by the quality of screens that can be feasibly manufactured on a consumer level at this time, then the price spikes a lot and it becomes non feasible at any higher resolutions right now.
You can already use it to watch movies using VR Player and SpaceSys VROSE is intended to make windows work with the Rift... So basically you want the CV1 with no motion tracking. At that point you might want to just wait for Sony or someone else to come out with a simpler product, because I doubt that OVR has something like that on their roadmap for the near future.
