"Object already exists" error
I posted about this on r/oculus but I haven't been able to fix this issue yet. Whenever I try to run a ".msi" installation file (only VR files as far as I can tell) I get an error message that says "Object already exists" and then the installer closes.
I've tried:
♦Running as admin
♦Changing the installation file path
♦Changing the location of the ".msi" file
None of these attempts have yielded any results.
I haven't been able to install:
♦VR Player
♦Virtual Desktop
♦(Some other one that I don't remember off the top of my head)
The earliest system restore point is from the installation of the DK2 tracking camera so I don't have a way to see if it's an issue with something the Rift installed. Except for a fresh installation of windows 7 (not completely out of the question but I would rather not).
