Oculus 3D model
I would like a 3D model of the Oculus Rift to use in Unity for my "turn Oculus on/off" switch. Is something like that freely available? I can make due with a normal picture, but a 3D model would much better fit my environment.

- jwilkinsExplorerIf makes me feel old that you said it would be "low poly" and it has 1,000 polygons,
- MannyLectroExplorer1000 polygons today is not that much, yep ! Of course the idea was to make a model that would be detailed enough to be used in any project. 1000 polygons is for the Rift with the straps, but without he straps the model is around 500 polygons, and that was my original goal.
Sorry if this seems to much ! I'm used to very high poly works and when someone tells me "low poly" I have a hard time going under a certain level of details :P ! - jwilkinsExplorerI wasn't saying it was too much. Hardware today has just gotten so monstrous.
- GeraldExpert Protegewell ... that likely makes it the most complex in the game, but I have plenty of horsepower to spare
- MannyLectroExplorerHere you go !
Final model, with or without straps, with all related maps (diffuse/occlusion/normal) :

And a screen of the final result in unity :
I will now post it in an appropriate section for other people who could use it. - TummlerHonored GuestAwesome job, Manny!
Does anyone have a 3D model of the Oculus VR logo? I'm a Maya super-noob but that'll make a nice little starter project if nobody has already done it... - MannyLectroExplorerThanks !
What do you mean by the Oculus VR logo ? Do you mean the logo with the eye ?
If yes it would be really really easy to do it in 3d. Depends of what you need exactly... - GeraldExpert ProtegeThis really looks great - I guess I will use the skinned version after all if I get it to look fitting. Thank you so much :)

You're welcome ! If you need anything else just ask ;) ! - jwilkinsExplorerWas thinking you might want to slap more more formal license on it than you have.
Try this: http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/
The think intent of the this license is the same as what you put in your ReadMe but covers your butt a little better :)
You might want to drop "Share Alike"
