Oculus and second generation Nexus display

Hello all you developers. I've been looking for a good full hd screen for my Rift and I came up with this new Nexus screen. If i'm not totally incorrect, the Rift has a Nexus first generation display? Any idea it could be switched? Has anyone done something like this before?
