Oculus DK 2 Wireless (ASUS Wavi 2)
Hi all!
In our lab we used to have a DK1 for wireless experiments, using an ASUS Wavi 2 to transfer the image and stuff over WIFI.
Today, we tried the same setup with a working DK2 and unfortunately, likely due to the new driver model, we couldn't get a proper connection. Is there a way fix that? Would never HDMI over WIFI connectors fix that?
I'd be grateful for suggestions!

- bteitlerHonored GuestIt's the native portrait resolution of the phone screens. The wireless HDMI chips don't know what to do with it. I'd tried 4 different brands. All the headsets you are likely to see in the future will use phone screens since they are already in mass production, so this issue is unlikely to go away soon. AntVR seems to be trying to solve this in hardware:

Note that you wouldn't get low persistence with the Wavi anyway since it can only do 60Hz at 1080p. I have no experience using standard WiFi to stream video - I think just like like anything else it will be a gamble whether the product's firmware knows what to do with 1080x1920.
Probably your best bet is to put a laptop in a backpack if you want to use the DK2 wireless right now :(
If you do find a low weight solution to this, please let me know!
