Oculus DK2 development problem please help !!

Hello everyone,

I have a quite simple problem to explain - but apparently not to solve :? :?
My Oculus DK2 is working perfectly on my Mac Book pro for all the demos that I download, except the one that I developed (on Unity 4.6). The HMD cannot be detected on the demo I made. I developed my demo on a PC and it works good when I make it run on a PC but when I have to make it run on my Mac, the HMD cannot be detected.
Please note that :
- I tried all the tricks (plug, unplug, before, during, after running the demo)
- I tried to run the build made from the PC to the Mac and I also tried to build and run it from my Mac to my Mac.

I would be very grateful if someone had an idea !
Thanks a lot,
Adrien :D

  • I don't have a solution for you to try but thought I'd say you are probably better off asking this question in the development section of the forums, you will probably get more developers read it if you post there.
  • Can you list exactly which version of Unity you have, and what OS versions you are using (Mac and PC)?

Also, please don't post the same message multiple times. I'm removing the other thread and moving this one.

Ok, I'm sorry for that - 1st time posting !

    My versions are :
    - Mac OS X Yosemite 10.10.2 (14C109)
    - PC Windows 8
    - Unity : 4.6.1f1
  • Can you try updating Unity to the newest 4.6.3p2 version? 5 can also work, but I was having some issues.

I did, and it worked :)
Thanks a lot ! So you advise not to update to Unity 5 now ?
