Oculus swag

Im running a Meetup out here in Sacramento CA, shameless plug http://www.meetup.com/Sacramento-Virtual-Reality-Meetup and am wondering how can I get a hold of some Oculus swag? I would be willing to pay and think it would be a great way to spread the word. Im talking about shirts, stickers and what not.

cheers,
Bullardo

  • AFAIK, swag is not publicly available for reasons I cannot fathom

    Oculus are owned by facebook.

I'm pretty sure they've got their 'Word spreading' covered.
  • Stupdid question: what is "Oculus Swag"? ( ) I looked it up on google but couldn't find a solid definition.

"Swag" is a common term for tradeshow givaways:

T-shirts, fabric bags with handles, buttons and pins, notepads and pens, letter openers, retractable USB cables, LED flashlight keychain fobs, logo-emblazoned USB flash drives, squeezable foam hand exercisers, various small toys, and candy are quite common, though I was given a $20 Nykko portable game controller at E3 (after showing the "ladies" 3D photos I took of them. There is usually a lot more swag being given out at electronics shows that at gaming conventions.

In the case of Oculus VR, I have seen "eye" logo buttons and "eye love VR" T-shirts, but their distribution seems quite limited. They seem to be well know even without such swag proliferation.

Personally, I think little "Barbie-sized" plastic DK1 headsets would have been great swag for OculusVR, so "daddies" could give them to their daughters to put on their Barbie dolls, or just to be used as a desktop ornament at the office.
    ;)

Thanks for explaining! Man, I'd love to have a Oculus thirt. I would wear it proudly! (Achievements in games is not my thing but the only achievement I'd like to have is "Played HL2 in VR", and that one doesn't exist ).
