Adding in my vote for an offline installer. I work in a SCIF and there is NO option for an online driver installer. We own 4 DK1's, 4 DK2's, 4 CV1's (Which we are struggling to use) with a potential to buy thousands for our agency.

- ApprovedAnonymousJust FYI, in order to make it work I had to copy the folder "OculusSetup-DownloadCache" after the entire app was installed and before it's removed by the installer, basically, at the specific moment before pressing continue on the successful installation message. If you do the kill process procedure, it won't work.
- ApprovedAnonymousI know this post is from 2007, but in 2020 is working for someone? I'm getting an error at the end of the installation asking me to reboot the computer due an error.
- shortsage2Honored Guestdownloading, hopefully it works :#
- ApprovedAnonymousHere you can download the installer ZIP: drive.google.com/file/d/1WZ_eaEyWpUeKVikl993uKqqmdU2Wzwko/view?usp=sharing
- ApprovedAnonymousI'll send in about an hour a link for the offline installer to download. At the moment I upload the zip to google drive.
- ApprovedAnonymousI'll be trying this shortly. Not having an offline installer smacks of arrogance and stupidity in equal measure. Just like making you jump through hoops to install on a different drive :-)
- thewhiteambitAdventurerYou don't really expect Facebook owned Oculus to let you use the device offline? Even if you manage a workaround, get prepared to get hit by a rock any later version.
- iHaagHonored GuestAny chance you could Zip them up, I cannot download it, keeps timing out and the stupid installer has no "resume", getting a brilliant first impression of Oculus and VR :(

Here is what we did:- Open Windows Explorer (This Computer, My Computer, etc)
- Start the installation on any PC.
- Find "OculusSetup-DownloadCache" Folder in C:\
- Double click the folder
- Take ownership/Permissions
- Open Task Manager and highlight OculusSetup.exe
- Let the installer download the files to the computer
- As soon as the computer says "Installing...," END TASK for OculusSetup.exe in Task Manager
- Copy the OculusSetup-DownloadCache folder to a flash drive
- Copy the OculusSetup.exe file (the installer stub) to same flash drive
- Copy the OculusSetup.exe stub and the DownloadCache folder to new computer, making sure you copy the DownloadCache folder to the root of C:\
- Run the OculusSetup.exe
- It will go into a "Not Responding" state temporarily. Just wait a few moments.
- It will "download" the files from the DownloadCache folder and install without the Internet!
It appears to be working. Many thanks ! - PelatoHonored Guesti reeealy like to have an offline installer!!
