Optical Tracking Prototype
Hey guys,
for university I did a prototype using the Kinect and the Intel Perceptual Computing camera, I thought somebody might find it useful:

I think optical tracking definately has potential, what do you guys think?

Absolutely Fabulous!!!!
There is a huge Potential to use the BIG BALL idea for both hands, and feet. Using that, re-draw the feet to kick, and the hands to hit/grab/toss, and you have got the makings of a full motion FPS like Battlefield3 or, MMO KickBoxing Online Game. The Sport of live kcik boxing is HUGE in NAmerica for some reason.
Can you immagine using your technic to make a boxing/kickboxing game? One on one. Online game?
HUGE!
BRAVO! - JDClampettHonored GuestIts still a matter of the 720 definition right now to incorporate the Rift with other Game...Hopefully the Consumer model will have overcome this problem??
