Pebble for telemetric input

I'm wondering if anyone has considered using something like the pebble to capture telemetric data from the player. Do you think this could be a useful VR accessory?

I'd love to hear thoughts from the community.

Valve have been rumoured to be working on biometric controllers. Having something like a heartrate monitor could make for interesting effects, e.g. playing an amplified simulated version of your heartbeat to heighten tension, or toning down the action below a certain threshold (or vice versa).
  • Exactly, yes. But I received a pebble yesterday, so that's the telemetry I've got to date. :D Well, that and a fitbit. I'm considering adding the Basis. What else out there would be suitable, I wonder?

Could you explain what a 'pebble' is? All I can find is a watch with a basic accelerometer in it, nothing with biometrics.
  • the Pebble is primarily a watch, but it's loaded with sensors and it has an SDK anyone can develop overtop. Because its very crude in terms of the kinds of telemetry it could provide,it probably shouldn't be thought of proper biometric Sensor. I provide a weird example of how this could be used in concert with VR. I'll go find it and post it here.
