photo album/image gallery

Hi
I would like to develop an image gallery in unity.

i would like to have a sequence of images arranged in a single row with a touch action to scroll the entire set.

On selecting one object, it should take to a new unity which is again a VR setup for that particular selected image.

Iam not sure on where to start and how to proceed.Can any one help me out.
Also how do I display the cursor for the object selection.
