Possible DIY screen upgrade for DK2 coming?
Just pontificating here.... but since the DK2 screen is technically just a Samsung note 3 screen, wouldn't it stand to reason that once the note 4 is released, it could be possible to swap out the scr...
@ Wodloo - I don't think this thread is stating an "update for DK2 " but a screen swap..
It would not be an official update by Oculus. You would do this yourself... If in fact they are the same size it would be relatively easy to do.. yes ?
I am wondering how different the CV1 will actually be to the Dk2 ? probably not a lot really..
I'm hoping for greater positional tracking. the camera really is limited to such a confined area.. a 40º max. angle & its so easy to loose the tracking.
