Powered Paraglider Simulator
Here's a project I started in 2009 for a Powered Paraglider simulator:
http://www.ppgsimulator.com
The controls provide left and right brake input, speed bar (footbar), and weightshift. Since I've received the Rift, it's really added to the experience of flying a ppg. I'll have to put a video together demonstrating the simulator using the Rift on a platform such as VSF (Vehicle Simulator Framework). I also plan on using Outerra as a platform for the sim (which would be great since powered paragliding is generally done close to the ground), but I need to build a JBSIM file for a paraglider flight characteristics.

- AndrewMedinaHonored GuestFunny enough, a Paramotor was going to be the first toy I buy myself when I feel the company I'm building has grown to the point I could spoil myself.
It's awesome to see someone else who loves the things here. - flyingndivingHonored GuestAndrew, you won't be disappointed flying ppg. I've been involved with many powersports (motorcycles [dirt and road bikes], snowmobiles, ATV, jet-skis), and ppg is something you never tire of and and provides the biggest thrills for the buck. It's why I built the simulator to begin with so I can get a little virtual air-time on those cold, blowing winter days (like we're having now in south-east Michigan) ;)
