PRK/Lasik for true VR vision?

glasses/contacts can become a huge impedence especially to developing

I got PRK because my glasses broke. Initially I got Lasik with Customvue and Plugs from Lasik Vision Institute. They financially qualified me no interest for 24 months. Payments per month for 2 years are very manageable. Upon arrive to the ready room the person working there told me the doctor is reviewing the results from the computer to see if PRK is better for me. Then it was and I got PRK.

It's better than Lasik because doing contact or anything extreme in the future won't make the flap bust open as only the top most layer for cornea is removed. I'm on 2nd to 3rd day and I'm beginning to see clearly.

I didn't want to go through the whole contacts bacteria which I had why I went back to glasses and glasses scratching allover again which cost lots of money.

I'm sure the developers can benefit highly to the new Visix S4 customvue technology. Having glasses squeeze into your face when you use VR for years to come looks bad. They've come along way. The different between tradiiontal and customvue I heard is traditional fixes at .25 where custom does all little numbers to be more accurate. The effect is no halos and glare at night. Also the plugs keeps the eyes from drying. Those 2 things are what 1/5 of the traditional Lasik people had as problem and some committed suicide over due to it failing during say the Lasik development stage like the DK2.

The PRK/Lasik procedure now is well refined and matured. It's probably like how Windows is now than back in say the 98SE/ME stage.

The procedure was totally painless and it just aches a little bit but it's like how it was with contacts on as a PRK contact "bandaid" is on top that has to be removed in 6-7 days.

I suggest everyone look into PRK/Lasik Customvue w/ Plugs if you are looking to get deep into VR.

Peoples night time vision is highly improved and people said they can see details once it fully healed. The drops might cost a lot but if you have insurance it should be ok. Also the transportation cost if it's far and parking but in the long run it looks worth an investment than a major computer/car upgrade.
