problem having DK to work

Hello

i have downloaded the latest 4.2 runtime (not SDK)
and also updated my firmware to the 1.12 version

my rift is set to extended mode, but i can't manage to launch my games.

I use to tool from bilago..

and here are the symptom

The demo from the config tool is working, if I set the rift in reverse landscape(not portrait)
but the camera and positional tracking are not working. (i dont get the camera lines).

when i launch the game from the bilago tools, I sometime get to have it visible in the rift, but its like a side by side video


Can you guys tell me what are your settings for rift ?
Portrait ? landscape ? reverse portrait ?
primary display ?

  • I use mostly extended I turn the default Rift from portrait to landscape. Some stuff works better with direct, only if I get jitter I try direct otherwise extended works fine. With extended go to advanced options and set your Rift to 75Hz and maximal resolution to 1080. The problem in direct mode is often for example most monitors’ show only 60hz and that does not mix good with direct mode trying to force 60 and 7Hz. I hope this problem will get ironed out soon but I am not expecting it, so we stay with extended and no clone mode. However I do think Win8 can clone.
