Quest 2 meta link not conected
0Actualice el metalink y me parece esta pantalla cuando conecto por cable he comprobado cable.
He desinstalado oculus home , y borrado todas las carpetas. Bueno, he cambiado el nombre a la carpeta.
He seguido los pasos pero cuando vuelva a conectar me vuelve a aparecer la pantalla con esos tres puntitos y se queda esperando.
En el visor de oculus link me dice que no tengo conexión con él con el PC.

Yesterday I got it working. Reinstalled Meta Quest Link, reinstalled updated Nvidia drivers. I opened and closed Steam Link because it was giving me a connection error. I closed Meta Link and when I reconnected the cable... and suddenly it worked. I guess I won't know what was going on... until the next update.

For me, when it looks stuck. Wait about 15 seconds and start the PC app anyway. It seems (for me) to be a bug in what it shows you, but still works.
Thanks for the comment, but I waited up to 2 minutes, but the screen stays with the dots and an animation without connecting. I've followed all the steps recommended on the website, turning off the router, uninstalling, deleting folders... everything, but it keeps looping and I can't see... it's very frustrating.

Install the missing Visual C++ dependency from Microsoft (Visual C++ Redistributable 2015-2019 14.22.27821):

Meta forgot to add them in the OculusSetup.exe since a few month now...
Most people don't have this issue because a lot of software already installs these runtime DLLs (like the NVIDIA App by example) but they are not provided with a clean Windows 10/11 installation.
Nether of those will install on my system. They just bring up a pop-up that says "Setup Failed".
