Question regarding touch

Hiya

For Oculus staff or Devs that have touch.

Im making game that utilises gamepad like controls, but also hands.
Im wondering how the touch controls feel on the thumb in terms of feeling like a console controller. Do you think it is close enough to be comfortable playing console-like mode with the touch controller for a period of time?

Mainly Left thumb analog joytick walk ,right thumb camera rotate.
I presume there are a range of buttons I can map to.
