Request to oculus Team

Can we have any application for Oculus DK2 which is similar to that of Samsung gear VR.

I mean..
a desktop app for gathering all of the other apps, oculus cinema, viewers etc.

will there be any technical issue or will it be as simple as just re-compiling them for desktop application only?

Please we need it

    Isn't that what Oculus Share is all about?

    I don't see the killer need when it is already being met.

    Oculus share isnt a VR app :p I think that is what the OP is requesting; a VR "installation / launcher" app akin to Steam.

    I know that is what the OP is requesting; but what is the point of devoting 3-6+ months to create a VR app that essentially will be a screenshot driven world where you would still need to click+download and install just like any other file.

    With the phone it makes sense; limited interface means the experience has to be streamlined for the user.

    On the desktop? Just a link to the Oculus Share website...

    Far bigger problems to solve and much better apps to spend time on creating :D :D :D
