Restart Rift Software?
Hi, I'm a digital artist making a rift game.
I love the rift, but I have an issue with my workflow.
I have a great graphics card, but it only has two DVI out slots. So, I have to choose between the rift or the second monitor at any given time.
It's a hassle having to switch, so I usually leave the second monitor plugged in for a several days of pure development, but then plug in the rift for a day or so to make sure everything still looks good on the rift. One thing that makes it worse is that I have to restart the computer whenever I switch.
I mostly blame the monitor. It's a big, OLD, HP monitor, and it's super temperamental with a known pickiness about picking up incoming video sources. As for the rift, I'm not sure why it seems reluctant to pick up the video signal after switching DVI inputs.
It's also very likely related to my graphics card drivers.
Anyway, one of the things I'd like to try would be to restart the Rift Drivers, and I was wondering it there's a straight-forward way to do it.
Any suggestions?

- cyberealityGrand ChampionYou can stop/start the Oculus service from the Config Util, but I don't think that will help you.
I've never had a problem hot-swapping Rifts onto a computer.
The issue is either with your video card or the graphics drivers in Windows.
