Immediately the first thing that comes to mind is the minecart bit from Donkey Kong Country.

"VR Minecart Carnage" is actually one of the first things I put on my list of ideas after playing some DKC while waiting for my Rift to arrive. I've been spending too much time on B-12 to work on any side projects though.
