Rift Display Mode - Direct HMD crashes

The Optimus/switchable graphics issue comes up just about every day, and I have responded many times. Basically it is not supported, and will likely not ever work correctly. It's not just something that can be patched or bug fixed, it's a limitation of the GPU hardware design. Maybe in the future new mobile GPUs can be designed better, I don't know.
It was only when I updated the graphics driver that Oculus World demo and the like started to crash - nothing else crashes.
