Screen Brightness Issue

I have this problem sometimes as well, especially in unity4 demos. It's not a problem in Elite which is rather strange since it's a very dark game.
I raised the brightness and contrast in Nvidia control panel to fix it in games like dreadhalls but this seems like a band-aid fix as well. No difference in 60hz or 75hz.
Very interested in getting this resolved, will also be monitoring this thread ^^
