Selecting 'Extended Desktop to HMD' results in Blue Screen !
Hi all, If I go into the "Rift Display Mode" and try to switch to 'Extended Desktop to HMD' mode I get a Blue Screen in Windows (didn't see that in years!!!). So I'm stuck for now on "Direct HMD ...
What is the cause of the BSOD? BlueScreenView is a free app that will allow you to view your minidumps in an understandable fashion.
What resolution and refresh rate is your main display?
I am assuming you have your main display hooked to one Dual Link DVI, then the Rift hooked up with the HDMI to DVI adapter? I think with the age of this card you may not be able to display 2 simultaneous displays at 1080p, assuming that is what you're trying to do.
Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling GPU drivers and the Oculus Runtime?
