Sense of touch!!
I think sense of touch can really help with immersion. I have had this idea of either a glove or an aperture to attach to the flat side of your hand opposite the thumb (where you would karate chop) ...
Yes, interesting ideas. I was also thinking of a cog or a teardrop shaped roller that would roll pressure onto your primary finger pads. I still think the airbag and manipulation of the air into pockets would be the way to go.
