Sixense will be at Siggraph 2013
Hi Everyone,
Sixense will be at SIGGRAPH 2013 showing our latest build of MakeVR as part of the ‘Birds of a Feather’ Virtual Reality Discussion. Paul Mlyniec, our Head of Development for MakeVR and industry pioneer, will demonstrate the latest build and provide some hands-on time for attendees. Monday, July 22, 2013 from 9:00-11:30 AM at the Anaheim Convention Center, Room 213 B. Also participating will be Project Holodeck, Virtuix and NextGen Interactions.

Keep us posted on what you see. Crossing fingers for the STEM! - zaloExplorerNo STEM, but Denny (Cloudhead), Jan (Virtuix), Paul (Sixense/MakeVR), and Nathan (Project Holodeck) all gave presentations on their respective cool projects.
I got to have a long chat with all of them (except Denny); they're really nice guys.
There aren't that many details on the new tracker because they are still developing it. I'm not sure I'm allowed to say anything other than that it is going to be substantially better in every regard and uses no IMUs (purely magnetic-pretty cool!). They're also very open to partnerships, so hit them up if you have a good synergistic product!
Since the current product is called the hydra because it has two monstrous "heads", I suggested they name the next one the "Rayman" because it's wireless! ... yeah they didn't find it that funny either
